What the world needs now is moral leadership.Leadership that would help this country from poverty and make it progressive from too much crisis.
Being in power doesn’t make one a leader, and those most fit to govern are not always in politics. Having thee power or the position is not the basis of being a good leader and having a good leadership. And those who are mostly governing or leading are not always politicians nor involved in politics.
There are many leaders with different characters and intention of becoming a leader.
Here are seven signs of leadership shared by best-selling author and motivational guru, John Maxwell.
1. Character- Strength of character is the first sign of leadership. A good leader has integrity and moral convictions. He inspires trust because of his word of honor and grace under pressure.
2. Influence-the second sign of leadership is positive influence on others. A leader can make things happen. He is a moral force for good. Influencing others to good things is one proof of good leadership.
3. Attitude-the third sign of leadership is positive attitude. A leader knows he will triumph in the end no matter what happens because what he is doing is right. He will always know what he is doing is right. He will always know what is right from wrong and he will never disobey his conscience just for expediency.
4. Positive attitude-include strength, faith and courage you should to your members.
5. Talents- the possession of evident talent is the fifth sign of leadership. A leader has something to offer. He can contribute significantly to enhance the world.
